There was something magical about capturing a moment and seeing it instantly, even if it was on a tiny, pixelated screen. That early love turned into a passion for photographing everyday magic, especially here in Sitka, where the scenery feels like a storybook.
As a first-grade teacher and photographer, I’ve found my sweet spot working with young kids. I know how to turn shyness into giggles, wiggles into joy, and ordinary moments into something unforgettable. With 12 years of local knowledge, I know where the best light hits and when the tide will make the perfect backdrop.
